Express Entry Mid-Year Report 2015

On July 31st, 2015, CIC has released valuable information about those in the Express Entry Pool as of July, 2015.

At that time there were only 41,218 active applicants in the Pool for consideration. This was the number of all active applicants from around the world. As of that date 112,701 people had created Express Entry Profiles. Of those 112,701 profiles 48,723 were rejected from the system as ineligible, 4,302 were pending and not yet in the Pool, 6,441 were withdrawn and 12,017 had been given an invitation to apply. CIC notes on their website that “The number of candidates invited is lower than the number of invitations sent because some candidates have received more than one invitation.”

They released the number of applicants in the Pool based on score:

As of July 2015, the number of applicants selected in each immigration program was as follows:

Federal Skilled worker – 4,809

Federal Skilled Trades – 1,887

Canadian Experience Class – 5,534

Provincial Nominee- 698

As of July, 2015 7,528 completed applications had been received by CIC with only 655 files approved and the visas issued to the main applicant and their accompanying dependents.
